Terms of Service

Last updated: July 5, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By using SCMulator (scmulator.com), including its calculators, glossary, acronym tool, and developer API (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What the Service Is

SCMulator provides calculators and reference material for supply chain planning — inventory, forecasting, logistics, and operations. Core tools are free to use without an account; optional paid plans add features like saved calculations, exports, and API access.

3. Results Are Estimates, Not Advice

Calculator outputs, benchmark figures, AI-generated explanations, and glossary content are provided for general information only. They are estimates based on the inputs and assumptions shown, and they are not professional, financial, or operational advice. Always validate results against your own data and judgment before making business decisions. You are responsible for decisions made using the Service.

4. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when registering, and let us know via the contact page if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the prices shown on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices with notice — changes apply from your next renewal.

6. Developer API

API keys are personal to your account — keep them secret and don't share them. API usage is subject to the rate and usage limits of your plan. We may throttle or revoke keys that abuse the Service or circumvent limits.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
  • scrape or bulk-copy the Service's content for redistribution or resale;
  • use the Service to send spam or for any unlawful purpose;
  • misrepresent SCMulator outputs as certified or professionally endorsed figures.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service — its design, code, content, and branding — belongs to SCMulator. You keep ownership of the data you enter and the calculations you save. We claim no rights over your business data.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Formulas and benchmarks may be simplified models of real-world behaviour.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SCMulator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages — including lost profits, lost inventory, or supply chain disruptions — arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (or $50 if you use only the free tier).

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may add, change, or retire features over time. If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
